Sam Heinz is an AMI trained Montessori guide, who received primary training from Montessori Institute Northwest in Portland, OR and his Master’s in Montessori Education from Loyola University in 2008. He then received his elementary training from Hershey Montessori Training Institute in Cleveland, OH in 2013. He worked in Montessori classrooms for 5 years, before going back to school to get his Occupational Therapy Master’s degree, which he completed in 2019. Sam has been with EA since 2025 and loves helping students reach their full potential and develop a lifelong love of learning.
Sam was born in Salt Lake City, but has lived in MT, OR, AZ, WA, and OH before moving back to his hometown in 2021 with his wife, Sara, and their two daughters Micah and Camille. In his free time he enjoys cooking, yoga, tennis, hiking, and trips to southern Utah with his family.
