Jeanne d’Arc Mukarugomwa has 4 years of teaching experience in the toddler classroom at Elizabeth Academy. She has also been teaching summer camp at both toddler and infant levels.
She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Mathematics and a Master’s degree in Statistics which gives her a solid foundation in mathematical reasoning, and data-driven problem solving in her everyday work.
Throughout her four years in education, she has developed a passion for helping students to love science and mathematics through classroom practical works. Her teaching and supporting approach emphasizes critical thinking and application of mathematics in everyday life.
Jeanne is also committed to creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment where students are engaged to build confidence and independence.
Her goal is to continue to develop professionally in order to make mathematics and science accessible, meaningful to the students she serves.
