Jess grew up in Salt Lake City in a big Greek family and spent more than twelve years participating in Greek folk dancing with her community.
Jess has been incredibly grateful to be part of the Elizabeth Academy family for the past 14 years. After graduating from the University of Utah with a degree in Early Childhood Education, she discovered Montessori education and knew she had found her calling. She continued her education at Westminster College, becoming an accredited AMS Early Childhood Montessori teacher through the Institute for Montessori Innovation and earning her Master of Education degree. After 15 years as a Montessori teacher, Jess continues to find so much joy in her work and in supporting children as they grow and learn.
Outside of the classroom, Jess loves writing and is currently working on several children’s books. She also enjoys yoga, reading, baking, photography, and traveling, especially to Disneyland! Most of all, she loves spending time with her cat, Figaro, and her family.
