McCall Kirby brings 20 years of experience working with children and families in a variety of educational and therapeutic settings. She began her career with Granite School District, where she spent 15 years working primarily in self-contained autism classrooms and supporting the district’s autism specialist.
After her time in education, McCall transitioned into the mental health field, spending six years working in residential treatment and day treatment settings while pursuing her degree as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA). Most recently, she worked at Primary Children’s Matt’s Place as a COTA, where she led therapeutic groups and provided individualized therapy.
In 2023, McCall substituted at Elizabeth Academy and quickly fell in love with the students, community, and supportive environment. She is excited to return to Elizabeth Academy as a middle school teacher and looks forward to building meaningful relationships with her students and contributing to the school’s community.
Outside of school, McCall is relishing life with her young daughter and enjoys bowling, gardening, and baking.
