Kayla was born and raised in Utah and is currently pursuing a degree in American Sign Language (ASL). Before joining Elizabeth Academy, she volunteered teaching mindfulness therapy skills, where she developed an appreciation for supporting children’s emotional well-being and fostering confidence and resilience. She has long been drawn to the Montessori philosophy and its emphasis on independence and curiosity.
Outside of school, Kayla enjoys spending time in nature, especially birdwatching, exploring local trails, and learning about insects and wildlife. She is grateful to be part of the Elizabeth Academy community and enjoys getting to know each student and family.
