Stacy has been dedicated to Montessori education since 2005. She earned her Early Childhood credential from the Montessori Education Center of the Rockies and began her career in Utah at Little Miners Montessori in Park City. She later joined Dancing Moose Montessori, where she served as Garden Director and played a key role in designing and expanding the school and community garden program. Alongside her garden work, she taught elementary science, integrating hands-on, nature‑based learning into the classroom. Stacy also brings the unique perspective of having operated her own Montessori program, 9th South Montessori.
Originally from Southern Idaho, Stacy earned a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Studies and Geography while attending college in Oregon. She is a Master Gardener and continues to blend her passion for education and the natural world in her work. When she’s not in the garden, she enjoys spending time outdoors—camping, skiing, snowboarding, and mountain biking with her family.
