Our Gratitude and Grandfriends event was a truly heartwarming celebration of connection. This past month has been full! Our last Friday teacher work day had a different focus than many of our more standard work days. A normal work day is focused on full school or level specific training, then there is level and classroom time after. We have covered many topics, including behavioral management, special education strategies for the individual and whole group, Kagan strategies of grouping students by heterogeneous and homogenous metrics, literacy and numeracy support, and many others. We celebrated MayDay (May 1st) with our Founder’s Day celebration, which included a lively presentation of the May Pole dance.
