Elizabeth Academy Secondary Campus

LEAP- Postsecondary

COMMUNITY ~ COLLEGE ~ CAREER ~ CONTINUING EDUCATION

Elizabeth Academy has made a LEAP to Postsecondary. Continuing our mission of inclusion, fully embracing students with intellectual disabilities in our schools, we have branched out to create a program that provides the same kind of lifelong learning and opportunities the rest our adult society already enjoys. We believe in Enlightenment for All and Enlightenment forLife.

LEAP— The Lifelong Elizabeth Academy Program—for post-high school/postsecondary students ages 18-30+, is an academically vigorous, Montessori-based, classical education program designed to meet students with IDD at their individual need while fostering a sense of community among their peers in the learning and social environment. We focus each morning with active engagement on two main trunks of academic instruction— Humanities and STEM and branch out to Electives in the afternoon. We have a full-day, 4-day (Monday-Thursday) weekly program with Friday Excursions scheduled once a month.
