Gina Yavelak

Behavioral Specialist

Gina Yavelak, M.Ed, BCBA, is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).  She received her B.A. from the University of Utah and a Master’s of Education from The University of Texas at Austin, with a specialization in Early Childhood Education.  She also received a Post Graduate Certificate from The University of North Texas, with a specialty in Behavior Analysis.  Gina worked for several years as a Special Education teacher in Utah and Texas, in both private and public settings, before moving onto a consulting career in Texas, Japan and Washington.  She has served in a consultative role since 2003, in various early intervention settings and school districts as well as in the Dept. of Defense Education Agency (DODEA) – Okinawa, Japan district.  She and her family relocated back to her home town of Salt Lake City in 2013.

Gina’s personal interests include spending time with her husband and two boys, gardening, photography, road trips and reading.
