Elizabeth Academy/Garfield School is a private non-profit inclusive Montessori school with two campuses serving infants through 10th grade. Early Childhood Montessori Inclusion Lead Teacher

Elizabeth Academy is seeking an Early Childhood Montessori Inclusion Lead teacher with at least three years of classroom experience working with children with exceptionalities. Montessori experience and MACTE credentials are preferred.

You will be an active member of a teaching team in an inclusive classroom of typically developing students and students who have special needs. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with an open-minded, enthusiastic teaching team and work in an inclusive environment with students with a wide range of abilities.

The applicant must be a motivated individual with a keen interest in adapting the curriculum to meet the needs of all students and encouraging and inspiring students to love learning. Flexibility, reliability, and professionalism are key. The ability to adapt curriculum is necessary. Montessori experience preferred.

Speech Language Pathologist

We are currently seeking a full time ASHA certified school-based Speech Language Pathologist. Applicants should have experience working with children of all ages with a wide variety of communication disorders including language disorders, speech sound disorders, autism, and apraxia.

Candidates should be collaborative , with excellent communication skills (both oral and written), and be able to communicate frequently and positively with both parents and classroom teachers. The candidate should be familiar with the IEP process and be reliable, punctual, and organized. Montessori certification and/or experience is a plus, but training is also provided.

Position is for an independent contractor and could be part or full-time, depending on interest and availability of candidate.
