Liz Sproul - Special Education Mentor

Miss Liz is the mentor for the Emerging/Early Childhood class. She spent eight months living in Romania where she volunteered at an orphanage and hospital with abandoned children. Most of the orphans she worked with had special needs, and that is when she knew what she wanted to do with the rest of her life. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from Brigham Young University in Special Education with an emphasis in severe disabilities, and went on to teach Diagnostic Kindergarten in the Jordan School District. She and her husband welcomed their first baby (George) in 2007 and their second baby (Pearl) in 2010. She is happy to be working with such incredible children at Elizabeth Academy.
