Library - Our students have access to our school library as well as the Murray library, where they can check out books.

Computers - Computers in the Montessori classroom are utilized for research and study, not games. Older students learn skills in keyboarding, proper use of the internet, and special attention is given to the development of problem-solving strategies, critical thinking skills and memory building.

Artworks for Kids - Specialists from Artworks for Kids provide art enrichment programs.

Fieldtrips - Fieldtrips to locations such as the Clark Planetarium, Red Butte Garden, the Natural History Museum of Utah, Thanksgiving Point, the Living Planet Aquarium and Ririe-Woodbury Dance Company performances incorporate thematic areas of study as an extension of classroom learning.

Private Speech Therapy -Private speech therapy is available on the premises of Elizabeth Academy through Maria Gurrister, M.S. CCC -SLP and Wasatch Speech and Language Center.

Playground and Indoor Activities - Children at Elizabeth Academy go outside every day to exercise large motor muscles and to explore their natural environment. We use the playground equipment and lawn on the grounds of the Murray Boys and Girls Club, which is a short walk from our facility. We also take nature walks in nearby Murray Park. We have a recreation room in our facility where the children can play indoor games on inclement weather days.
